GLOCK have just released the new Gen 6 pistols in four models: G17, G19, G45 and G49 which feature a number of changes from previous models – all improvements to precision, reliability and ergonomics.

One of the main changes is the refined grip with new, more aggressive texturing and a subtle palm swell which offer a good hold, more natural point of aim, and a much better handling pistol.

Another specific modification is the stepped chamber  which is a groove just before the end of the chamber which is designed to provide a better gas seal for improved accuracy and consistent muzzle velocity.

Other notable features include:

• Flat-faced trigger
• Better recoil control
• Optics ready - supporting a wider range of red-dot footprints
• Redesigned slide with deeper serrations offering a sleeker profile and smoother manipulation
• Textured thumb rest
